At AGS, we recently had the honour of undertaking a vital cleaning project at the iconic British Library in London. Our task was to address the hazardous slip dangers posed by the well-trodden entrance paving, ensuring the safety and accessibility for the thousands of visitors and staff who pass through these historic doors each day.

The entrance of the British Library, was marred by gum and slippery surfaces. This not only detracted from the library’s majestic appearance but also posed a safety risk to visitors. Our team used environmentally-friendly, yet powerful cleaning techniques to meticulously remove each piece of gum and treat the slippery areas. This process not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the entrance but also significantly reduced the risk of slips and falls.

We understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of such a prestigious establishment. Therefore, our approach was careful and respectful, using methods that preserve the paving’s material while effectively restoring its original beauty and safety.

As the photos show, the transformation was remarkable. The entrance now proudly reflects the prestige of the British Library, welcoming visitors from around the world into a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
